The Wedding Planner's Big Day

Hi Everyone,

Guess what the Wedding Planner is getting hitched! I am going to Las Vegas in November to get married and I need your input. I am a middle ged bride and the second time will be the charm. What type of dress should I wear? Traditional gown, something short and slim? Colors? I am at lost now that it is my turn. If you were going to Las Vegas as the bride what would you do?
I am curious to learn what other brides thing would be a great idea for me.

Happy Planning

Wedding Contracts

Prospective brides and grooms, "PLEASE" take this suggestion to heart, I would not steer you in the wrong direction. If you hire a bridal planner, please have her review each and every contract you sign. On your wedding day, you have no time for unnecessary surprises. It has been my experience to have couples face vendors and not realize their contract was for four hours when the reception lasted five hours. If you're not hiring a planner, by all means have a lawyer review your contracts. This is a must do, I cannot stress this point enough. If you follow my suggestions, I promise you will thank my later. PS: It is much cheaper to hire a planner than a lawyer...hint, hint.

My Inspiration

Event Planning has been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember. The seed was planted by my grandmother many years ago, as I watched her plan and cater many dinner parties and weddings. I would stand back in awe of her talents as she would slice a watermelon into the shape of a boat and fill it with mouth watering fresh fruit in perfectly round bite size pieces. Her tablecloths were impecable and the silver candlelabras were forever sparkling in the light. (even though I hated cleaning that silver) Finding one's passion is the most rewarding gift you can give yourself. Doing something you love, makes a job exciting, you get up in the morning eager to start the day without hesitation or dismay. Coordinating weddings is very rewarding because the joy on a bride and groom's face at the end of the day is well worth every little detail that goes into making "their" day, the beautiful start of the rest of their lives.
Thanks Granny!
